When 70% are disengaged, how does humanity rise?

If the rise of technology naturally evokes the rise of humanity, how will humanity rise when disengagement persists at 70% across the workforce (per Gallup) – and, by extension, at home, in worship, and throughout the marketplace?

Over 35 years of field research across industries and economic scales, we created products and services that identified and resolved the hidden thread (the major shadow contributor) behind organizational and societal outcomes. Many of the “systemic issues” we see are, in truth, systemic outcomes: the effect of a deeper cause that quietly becomes the be cause.

For decades, this tangle has been bundled under the label “disengagement.” Understandable, but incomplete. Despite billions spent on training and motivation, the percentage has barely moved – because the problem being solved is the wrong one.
