The Successful Sale of the Start-up Was the Value of the Company Culture
Brought in by the Venture Capitalist to facilitate and work with a Child Internet browser company that grew and than later when on to be successfully acquired. The value of the company was more than their product, it was the culture of the company.
The following are just a few of the participant responses:
Aligning Visions: “…Very hopeful. Optimistic about our ability to take our inner growth, and transform it into our manifestation of that growth for ourselves personally, our teams, our company and our community.
Self-Responsibility: “…That I will in turn empower our company, move forward at higher pace, a more rapid pace. It’s been good for me… energized is the word that came to my mind.”
The Power of Culture: “…Much greater confidence – not being that I never had confidence in everybody here, but it tends to waiver sometimes. You’re really confident and sometimes you’re not. Confidence level is returning.”
Clarity: “…A sense of completion. A sense of I know now what I have to complete for me so that I can be more focused and more complete here and to assist this team in its evolution and its creating a mission. I feel today, for the first time, in our company, we can create a mission to present to ourselves and our leaders and to the Board of Directors as to what truly we want to accomplish …”
Interdependency – Participation and Self-Esteem: “…Pushing past that surface level, looking a little bit deeper.”
New Pair of Glasses: “…I feel like I can value each and everyone of you as an individual and also as part of the team.”

Third Party Statistic: Proven Results, Measurable Change – T Factor of 95 Greater than 1 Standard Deviation
“The positive change in the total mean difference of 4.21 is greater than one standard deviation of 4.00. This is a statistically significant effect.
The calculated T (-) value of -9.86 is significant at the < .50 level. This clearly shows with a 95% (or greater) assurance that the 4.21 change in total mean difference is not due to chance.
One can assume the alternate hypothesis is in effect which state that the change in total mean difference is due to the A.C.T. [AwareComm’s® Foundational eMod™ Series] intervention with the population under study, all things equal. …”

Principle-based eMods™ with PLT™ Delivery and Dynamic Relational Models™ (DRMs™) Deliver Results
“…I want to thank you very much for giving my students perhaps the most powerful set of lessons they may have experienced in their educational lives. I have spent 38 years in the classroom and can tell when students are positively impacted with knowledge. Wow, the responses you received in the classroom and online were remarkable. You touched a nerve with many of my students with your informal and thought provoking…
…Each lesson creates a foundation that becomes stronger with each succeeding lesson creating an extremely meaningful finale of the course. The dialogue of the course is not just typical classroom curriculum but rather real life changing perspectives for our students to build their persona upon.
The delivery system of Life Skills U is unique. The students had the opportunity to learn via an assortment of delivery systems using Life Skills U [AwareComm’s®] Parallel Learning Technology [PLT™]. …
…Students with various learning styles can greatly benefit from Parallel Learning Technology [PLT™] especially with the feedback testing strata of the courses.
…My students were presented the course entitled Creating A Team Culture Responsive to Change. Since the tenants of the Business Academy is to foster leadership skills I requested Richard to present this course, which I felt would accompany my usual teaching strategy. It worked beautifully. I feel my students were exposed to a multifaceted learning approach that will create a much higher student retention.

Empowering Community Through Principle-based Change
Seminar Changes Lives, May Help Community
Everybody in Denison is talking about the changes they see in long time newspaper publisher, Dick Knowles. He says an experience he had recently changed his life and that if other people in Crawford County area could experience the same thing, the possibilities are endless.
“I’ve learned to allow great things to happen instead of trying to control the world around me,” says Dick Knowles. “I can make decisions instead of judging. I’ve learned to let go and have faith.”
Why the change in attitude? Knowles had an “emotional road map” installed in his being. A design that let him “allow” things to happen, rather than “control” them.
He received the single ‘road map’ from San Diego, California. A man named Richard Jorgensen presented a 30-hour course that Knowles took called “Personal Awareness and Self-Esteem.” [AwareComm’s® Foundational eMod™ Series] Knowles was so impressed by this course and what it did for him that he flew Jorgensen … to Denison (at his own expense) to present the course to the community members here. Nineteen area residents took the 30-hour course and approximately 27 more took the four-hour mini-course. The seminar was held on the weekend of January 14. Now, only two weeks gone by, obvious changes are occurring in the participants.
Several of these people, over the next few weeks will be interviewed and their emotional progress tracked for a series of articles dealing with how this information helped these individuals and how it can help the community as a whole. …
…Carolyn Bryant of “Little Bit of Heaven” in Dennison took the Personal Awareness course as well as Dick Knowles did. She feels that other community members and business people could get involved in the course when it comes around in February.
“I hope my personal appearance and conduct now, compared with before I took the course, will let them know that I have a different look on life.” Says Bryant. “I don’t feel that fear that I always used to feel either.”
Bryant says, that low self esteem and incidents from the past have always haunted her, but now they don’t.
“This course has helped me to understand my personal needs in times of crisis,” says Bryant. “For example, the loss of a family member, a health condition, a financial crisis, divorce or loss of a job. It is really helping me deal with my husband’s stroke and how I felt about that.”
Support groups are currently being set up for members of the first 30-hour course because the people that take the course need to keep learning long after the sessions is over and the last workbook is completed.
For area residents that are interested in changing their lives and changing the future of their community, Richard Jorgensen will offer a second chance to anyone who was unable to attend the first series of courses that were held just two weeks ago.
…“If anyone is skeptical about this course or are just too lazy to spend the time, those are bad reasons to miss this incredible experience” says Bryant. “It changes your life.”

Gang Leader Turned Co-Facilitator:
Learning Begins with Leadership Creating the Environment and
Followship™ Building the Reality with His Gang
“You know, I was just wondering how you guys felt as a group about what we discussed yesterday, about what you guys learned about yesterday.
For me, for my first time through, that was a pretty heavy dose of reality – dealing with all the old shit. For many years I buried that stuff, and I thought it was buried till I met my good friend Richard here… and I guess he’s a grave digger or something cause he did unbury it, man. Even though I didn’t want it, even though I had forgotten and I dealt with it in the past man, it came up and it’s still coming up. But today, through this, I’m able to digest it and let go of it.
For me to deal with things that happened to me and letting go of it – it’s a big step for me, man. Because I’m one of them hardheaded dudes, man. I don’t let go unless I get my revenge. And even then, that might not be good enough. Cause if someone hurts me I wanna hurt ‘em double. And I lived through that lifestyle for so many years that it just became second nature for me, man. Someone beats me for a dollar, I’m gonna turn around and beat them for five. That’s just the way it was. But dealing with that old past and learning this new work that I didn’t think would ever apply to me.
This word forgiveness – that was pretty heavy for me, man. Cause I had a lot of shit going in my mind. And I’ve done a lot of shit in my life. And it makes me check myself on the stuff that I did to other people, man. Hoping that there’s a way they’ll be able to forgive me for all the hurt that I did to them.
Because I was out there running amuck with drugs, women, alcohol, whatever your drug of choice may be, man. You know you’re not spreading happiness that’s for sure. People used to see me, and they used to lock the doors and close the windows then hide their purse and say ‘hey don’t answer the door’. I used to hear the little kids running around inside, man. I knew someone was in there, but they wouldn’t answer the door for me. And that’s because I was scandalous.
But hopefully with time and me continuing this lifestyle that I’m living today, man, I can make amends to all those people. Just by walking the walk that I’m walking right now. And making an example. Because that’s why I’m here today. I’m here to show you guys that yeah, this thing works if you want it to work for you. And it won’t if you won’t want it to. This is a program of choices right now.”
